The ozone layer is a natural part of Earth's upper atmosphere. About 15 miles (24 kilometers) above the surface, is called the ozone layer. It protects people by absorbing harmful rays from the sun. These rays can cause skin cancer, eye diseases, and other health problems if they reach Earth. Which is a part of the stratosphere (the second layer after the troposphere which is part of the atmosphere layers). Pollution of the ozone layer is caused by human beings and will cause damage to human beings on the blue planet (earth) can you believe the problem started in 1970 the problem started 52 years ago!
How did the problem happen? The main cause of ozone depletion and the ozone hole is manufactured chemicals, especially manufactured halocarbon refrigerants, solvents, propellants, and foam-blowing agents (chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), HCFCs, halons). And the Ozone hole was created by humans, How you may ask well people are polluting our earth in many ways like: Factories, Cars, Air pollution and even plastic is a part of the Ozone pollution. Can you believe that there are countries that are under a huge threat becuase there is no ozone layer to protect them from Ultraviolet (UV) rays. Ultraviolet rays can cause many issues and some of them are: Increasing the rate of skin cancer, Eye cataracts and genetic and immune system damage.
What may happen in the future of humans if pollution continues? Ozone layer depletion causes increased UV radiation levels at the Earth's surface, which is damaging to human health. Negative effects include increases in certain types of skin cancers, eye cataracts, and immune deficiency disorders.
